1. Coordinates public services to ensure the library’s programming meets goals and objectives of the library’s Cumberland County’s strategic plan.2. Reviews and edits all grant applications prior to presentation to the director. The library received $286,728 in grants in FY2013 and $210,815 in grants in FY2012.7. Completes all statistical reports required by outside agencies and provides presentations to the library’s Board of Trustees and other agencies on the library’s progress on goals, objectives, and comparison to other library systems.8. Presents training to county employees on coaching and feedback, completing the county’s performance appraisal system, critical thinking, and North Carolina employment law.9. Project manager in conversion of the library’s collection and its ILS system to a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) method for material circulation and for self-service checkout. 10. Acted as project manager and oversaw migration of the library from its VTLS Virtua ILS system to the Evergreen-based NC Cardinal consortium. 11. Worked with contractors and architects during construction of West Regional Library; acted as project manager in completion of renovations to three other locations.12. Acts as director of the library in the director’s absence. Show less
