My time is more or less spoken for, right now. However I am looking for collaborators / peers with an interest in machine learning, epidemiology and human rights advocacy (ideally all three at once) I also have a very specific interest in using Angular to create web interfaces to django / python for the purpose of creating real-time data visualizations. Contact me if you use a similar setup and want to talk. My art work and projects can be found at brianmacmillan.com. My time is more or less spoken for, right now. I managed 35 different applications including three "tier 1" applications related to foreign exchange and futures/options trading. On a daily basis I used a diverse range of software and database tools, and worked on a variety of operating systems including unix, linux, windows, OS/400 and MVS. A "tier 1" application is one that impacts the books and records of the firm. These applications were subject to special compliance, fail-over and disaster recovery rules. • AVP and Senior Developer, Lehman Brothers Fixed Income Technology

I developed and managed the legal document management component of the Lehman Brothers Derivatives system, which handled over 27 trillion dollars (by notional value) of derivatives trades the year I transferred to Operations, or approximately 5% of the global total for derivatives trades in that year. I was also seconded to the Lehman "e-banker" project, where I worked to provide investment bankers with current, flexible tools.
