The Regional Technical Manager at Dynamic Graphics, Inc (DGI)) must have a broad-based and in-depth knowledge of the company, its products, the hardware computing environments and industry applications. This position focuses on managing the technical support team and providing quality support to clients in the form of on-site visits, email and phone communication. Emphasis is also on project work, training, marketing support, software testing and documentation. The breadth of knowledge and degree of client exposure requires that the Regional Technical Manager will interact with all other departments at Dynamic Graphics and will contribute to a wide variety of projects. Actively supervising all aspects of the employment and work of Technical Support Specialists ensuring they meet the needs of clients and the Company. Managing client needs whilst meeting Company requirements. Maintaining contact with clients, prospects and others to provide information on competition and other current market products, and customer challenges. Liaising, communicating, planning and coordinating requirements to DGI. Providing technical assistance to clients and following up in a timely fashion. Developing and updating standard tests for new features and new products. Performing client site software installations. Assisting in the preparation of course materials and presenting classes. Assisting in the preparation of demonstration materials for sales and marketing departments. Performing software demonstrations in-house, on site and at trade shows. Assisting in the preparation of materials and presenting workshops for user meetings and other presentations. Traveling to client sites and other locations for work related activities. Assisting sales staff in pre-sales activities Performing project work for clients. Performing other duties as assigned.
