  Foruminvest is an international investment and development group specialized in housing, shopping centres and hotels. Forum Concept&Design is Foruminvests' inhouse research & design department. In a multidisciplinary process FCD provides the concept design for all (inter)national projects where the esthetical, economical, sustainable and architectural aspects are in full harmony. After the concept phase local or international architects are involved to further develop the architectural design, and FCD will act as design manager through the design and construction process, to uphold the high quality design philosophy. Selection responsibilities & achievements: - Apartment building 'TwoTwoFive' with 276 units in Amstelveen near Amsterdam, The Netherlands. With OZ Architect. - Centrumplan Rosmalen, a mixed-use project with housing & 8,000m2 GLA retail located in the Southern part of The Netherlands. Design in cooperation with PPHP Architects. - Gran Roma. A 32,000m2 GLA shopping center in Rome Area, Italy. With GLA Architects. - Design management for 5-star ultra-luxury hotel at lake Como area, Italy. With Citterio Viel Architects. - Design management for business/leisure hotel ibis Styles Rotterdam Ahoy, The Netherlands with 250 keys. With Mulderblauw architects and Architecten Cie. - Design management for 240 keys Tribe Malpensa Milan, Italy. With Mulderblauw architects and ADD. - Design management for approx. 20,000m2 GLA Outlet Village in central part of The Netherlands with The Jerde Partnership. - Preparing building permit for approx. 30,000m2 retail and housing project in central part of Germany with RKW Architekten. - Providing (concept) design for building permits for refurbishments and extensions of various shopping centers which are under management in Italy. - Various hotel & housing acquisition projects throughout Europe.   C Concept Design is focussing primarily on providing an urban and architectural vision for programming, concept and design development phases. I participated in the concept and design development phases of various mostly retail related projects in The Netherlands, France, Belgium, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Portugal and Russia. Selection responsibilities & Achievements 2004-2008: - Lead designer of approx. 30,000m2 GLA award winning shopping centre project Gran Sasso (Teramo, Italy). - Lead designer of approx. 35,000m2 GLA award winning shopping centre Mongolfiera (Bari, Italy). - Lead designer of redevelopment of Yuzhny shopping centre (Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan). - Various concept design work contributing to successful acquisitions and winning competitions for shopping centre or mixed-use projects of international developers and investors, like ING, Foruminvest, Fortis ASR, OVG, Deutsche Bank, Renaissance Construction Group.
