Innovated and delivered course for additional geographical subjects i.e. Intermediate Travel & Tourism, and Higher Managing Environmental Resources (MER). Acted as the department's lead geography teacher in the Humanities Faculty for 5 years – responsibilities include writing the departmental development plan, standards & quality report and leading the annual departmental review; mentoring probationer/ student teachers, representing the department at local authority geography business meetings, liaising with Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), leading the geography curriculum at all levels and facilitating departmental field trips.
