Brian served as the Diversity and Inclusion Chairperson from 2021-2022. During his term as chair of this committee, he helped secure a grant from the National Association of Realtors to fund an educational luncheon for our members by bringing in a diverse panel of developers, builders, and instructors. This has been our most successful event for this committee in the last eight years. His knowledge and understanding of the real estate world and our community were overwhelming for someone his age. Brian and I worked directly on many events during this time, and I hated losing him. He will be tough to replace. I can’t imagine any job or task that Brian couldn’t handle, given his desire for education and the advancement of the local community. He will always be welcome at the Central West TN Association of Realtors.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Brian James on two new business ventures. It was my dream to enter the small business community in Downtown Jackson, and I was aware that Brian had the knowledge and commitment to get me there. It was important to work with a young professional one who is innovative and has a fresh approach. We worked closely together for nine months to develop two businesses that would contribute to our community. Brian’s concern was not only to close the deal, but he was invested from beginning to end. With his help we rolled out a new restaurant concept and I was constantly amazed not only by his technical project management skills, but also by his humanistic and creative approach to connectivity. His heart is truly to develop the city. With Brian’s assistance we found ways to be more visible in our market and promote our local brand with our community and Brian helped propel our ideas.
