Brian is a top-shelf organist, bringing great precision and musicality to his playing. Able to make the most of virtually any instrument, Brian would be an excellent choice for any church or concert venue. Brian also comes highly recommended for his skillful and artistic choral accompaniment.

Over the past six years they have performed throughout the region, including The Newark Museum, The Newark Club, NJPAC, Newark City Hall, the Superior Court of New Jersey, and area schools, churches, and medical facilities. They have performed in concert and choir festivals at William Paterson University, Rutgers University–New Brunswick, The Pingry School, and the Prudential Center in Newark. The Chorus performs a large and varied repertoire in a dozen languages, reflective of a student body that is one of the most diverse in the nation. For the past several years, I have led successful fundraising campaigns through Rutgers Giving Day, including winning the "Most-improved Leaderboard," the "Random Giving Challenge," and the "Final Countdown Challenge." During the Pandemic, the Chorus performed online for the Dean's Year-End Message of Hope to the Community and for the 41st Annual Marion Thompson Wright Lecture Series. December, 2019: A performance of of Mary Lou Williams’ Music for Peace in collaboration with the Institute of Jazz Studies at Rutgers–Newark, which holds an archive of Mary Lou Williams's papers. We brought in Jazz pianist and scholar Deanna Witkowski, the author of a new book on Williams, for two performances. May 2019: I organized and raised funds for an International Tour for 45 chorus members to Hungary. We performed in churches and concert halls, including with another University Choir. December, 2018 The Chorus performed a concert at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City. 2016 The Chorus performed a joint concert with the New Jersey Philharmonic Glee Club for Newark's 350th anniversary celebration.
