Created and led the Just Democracy Coalition that successfully help pass online, same-day, and automatic voter registration bills in the state of Illinois. Supported ballot initiatives to create an independent redistricting commission and currently working to launch a ballot initiative on rank choice voting and/or multi-member districts. Launched the Fair Elections campaign to create a small donor public financing system in the City of Chicago, State of Illinois, Cook County and Evanston, IL. Increased the state budget from $80,000 in 2012 to $520,000 in 2018 and doubled the size of the board of directors, while growing our membership from 10,000 to over 35,000 people. Show less
