I worked closely with Brian at CREST Technologies for three years. I would whole-heartedly recommend him to an employer as someone with a breadth of technical expertise and the ability to focus on the needs of the business. He was the lead developer for the company's internal tools and web services, with whom I collaborated and directed remotely. Brian was always deeply motivated to cultivate a best-of-breed product throughout the entire development process within the context of catering to the business needs of the company. He was an invaluable resource with a range of experience as a full-stack developer, with the ability to work on streamlining the UX/UI design all the way to the back-end processing and system APIs. While our business relationship was primarily conducted remotely, he was always customer-focused, technically adept, and professional in person as well. Brian was a rare individual who conceptually "gets" and can provide for the needs of an entire ecosystem of tools that a business can rely on. Furthermore, he was motivated by a keen sense of craftsmanship and satisfaction in producing something of great value to solve critical problems. He often pleasantly surprised us with a solution to a problem because he had a talent for understanding our needs very well.

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Brian Fries for Software and Tools Development. Brian worked at CREST Technologies for 11 years and I would bring Brian back immediately if possible. During his time at CREST, Brian, worked diligently to build websites and tools to improve efficiency and keep CREST at the forefront of our field. Brian quickly learns a workflow and is able to develop tools that not only fit in, but also improve that work flow, as opposed to having to adapt the workflow to fit the tools. This is a rare talent that will help your company with processes across the board. Along with his talent, Brian has always been a team player and willing to jump in wherever needed to make sure the customer gets what they need. Without a doubt I know Brian will be a valuable asset to any team. Please feel free to contact me at 978-422-6200 x151 if you’d like to discuss Brian’s qualifications and experience further. I’d be happy to expand my recommendation. Sincerely, Matt Mecum President CREST Technologies, Inc
