• Leading the engineering department since 2011• Designed railgear: a hydraulically powered mechanism and suspension to stow and deploy rail wheels on a truck so it can drive down the railroad tracks• Designed Roto-180: a hydraulically powered dump body that can swing 90 degrees left or right so the load isn’t dumped on top of the railroad tracks• Designed Wireless Remote Drive which uses electronics and pneumatics to allow the truck to be driven from outside the cab• Customer support for new design & legacy products, support on-site manufacturing & production• Oversaw and contributed to RW-1019B railgear design, a clean sheet design to fit on F-550 and similar size trucks with much better ground clearance than previous design and better curvature performance• Designed RW-1016 suspension system, part of a clean sheet railgear design with better track performance and easier adjustability than previous design• Designed stub axle insulation system which completely eliminated field failures of wheel insulators• Re-designed hydraulic & electrical system for Roto-180 to increase reliability and provide improved in-cab proportional controls package
