      - Act as sole business owner over the process of the application of charges to customer invoices (“rating”), including all related automated systems/applications, manual rating and quoting procedures, audits, and charge dispute resolution. - Develop a full understanding of the complex rules associated with customer contracts as it relates to the application of charges and train a diverse international workforce ranging at various times between 30 and 90 employees & contractors to accurately apply those rules. - Collaborate with a variety of other departments including bill entry, customer database, pricing, sales, collections, invoicing, and customer service and understand the relationship between Rating and each of those functional areas. - Understand the Rating process’s role in the overall revenue flow of the business and implement any modifications necessary to support ever-changing business needs. - Serve on steering committees, enhancement review teams, and support end to end testing of system and process changes. - Develop an extensive understanding of the IT infrastructure behind the Rating application and work with the IT support team to quickly address any errors. - Design and implement audit procedures for the prevention of inaccurate customer invoices - Monitor employee performance, set department goals, and ensure all employees have the training and resources to meet or exceed those goals. Maintain employee morale and engagement. Encourage accountability and a sense of personal ownership over their responsibilities. - Develop analytics and design reports to communicate the status of key department metrics to senior leadership.
