Brian was the best platoon sergeant who worked for me during my time as a company platoon leader. It wasn't even close. The man is a leader who supported his leadership, built cohesive teams, trained them, instilled a supportive culture for his soldiers, took them to war and brought every one home safe. Brian believes that leadership extends to caring about his team's family members. He volunteered more of his personal time than any of his peers in support of our family readiness programs. Brian provided me informed counsel when we were on peer levels and a steadfast right hand to implement policy and prepare a platoon for combat deployment when we were privileged to lead a combat camera platoon together. I remain grateful for the role that Brian played in my leadership journey. I would be proud to lead with him again.

I have worked with Brian off and on, for over 20 years. He has always been enthusiastic, dedicated, and honorable. His integrity is beyond question. He not only exceeds the expectations of his specific taskings but is always involved in community organizations that have a positive impact on individual lives. Brian continues to seek out ways for self improvement. He does not keep his vast experience and knowledge for himself alone. He is an excellent mentor and leader - sharing all he has to give.

Advanced Detection is a new role at Amazon Reverse-Logistics. The goal is to identify products that customers return the most that are the most susceptible to fraud, and prevent bad products from reentering the marketplace. Once identified, those products are segregated during the returns process for additional checks and verifications, to include x-raying as necessary. If fraudulent activity is found, those customer accounts are annotated and flagged as necessary after investigating product and customer activity utilizing various internal programs. It is considered a higher level of problem solving for Tier-1 associates. Show less

Processing returns to Amazon.com, the largest online market in the nation. I scan and input products back into the Amazon.com system and help determine their disposition for resale, refurbishing, or disposal. I also help to identify fraudulent returns, fix issues related to processing errors, direct the shipping of products back to vendors and customers, and teach new and current associates in critical path and support roles. My daily average is 30% or more over expected quotas, which puts me in the top 15% of my peers. Show less
