As the Senior Support and Training Department Manager, I was responsible for the support department and support engineers, ensuring the realization of strategic and company goals. Directing and working with the support team, we transitioned from a call based approach to a customer relationship management system, driving greater efficiency and accountability in customer interactions. I was also the top tier escalation for internal/external support and training needs. I worked closely with support staff to train them in troubleshooting procedures, product knowledge and other areas as necessary to ensure their technical/professional growth, and ability to effectively work with customers to solve issues in a timely manner. Managing the training department, I worked with department stakeholders to identify areas where documentation was needed, and wrote articles for our internal and customer facing knowledge management systems. I was responsible for designing, writing and delivering training to both internal and external parties. Prior to 2020, this was in-person instruction throughout the US and world. In 2020, this transitioned exclusively into virtual environments. Finally, I lead the strategic development of new services in an effort to establish a learning ecosystem, self services and premium offerings for EDX Wireless Customers, employees, prospects and future interns. These new and developing services include: - EDX Customer Support Portal and Service Desk (Jira) - Virtual Instructor Led Training (Zoom/MS Teams, etc) - Computer Based Training (Captivate) - Learning Management System (Moodle) - Subject Matter Expert Program - EDX Wireless Consultant Development Program - RF Planning Health Check Services
