I’ve know Brian for 10 years now and I believe he is a man of purpose and mission. He is a great leader and is not afraid to get out front and challenge the status quo. He is called to make an impact on those around him and I’m blessed to call him friend!

As Brian's assistant in his role as Director of Athletics at Valor Christian High School, I was privileged to work alongside him in a team setting and consider him to be an exemplary leader in High School Athletics. Brian takes ownership of the complex responsibilities that an A.D. is faced with on a daily basis as an active listener and effective communicator being able to not only give feedback but receive it and then ask the right questions to ensure an excellent outcome. He understands how the people around him function internally across departments and with an empathetic comprehension, finds common ground to create partnerships and collaborate for mutually beneficial outcomes. Brian is focused and operates with a growth mindset, willing to adapt and make adjustments along the way within a project and amongst League Athletic Directors to achieve positive outcomes for high school athletes throughout Colorado and within the sports community. Most importantly, Brian cares deeply about others and puts forth great effort to build trust and empower his employees and co-workers to be in a position to make wise decisions, utilizing their own expertise within their areas of giftedness to achieve goals and build a strong sense of worth and commitment within the department and overall, to the organization as a whole. Brian is a supportive, innovative, and motivational pacesetting leader and I highly recommend him.
