I was employed as a Mechanical Supervisor \ Coordinator on the LNG Komo Airfield project EPC5 in the southern highlands of Papua New Guinea for a large Construction Company.On this project I am responsible for the operations of the workshop on the airfield, maintaining over 300+ pieces of plant and machinery, organizing a crew of 20+ tradesmen, Diesel Fitters, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers and tyre fitters.

I started this project rebuilding the TBM,s then assembly and disassembly of the two Herrenknecht AVN 1500 and 2000 TBM’s for the different shafts we sunk and move the machines to the next work site. This was a pipe jacking project where we did the biggest drive in the southern hemisphere 1.1kms at Pringle hill on the Sunshine Coast. I was also responsible for breakdown repairs and planned maintenance of:• Herrenknect AVN 1500 and 2000 TBM’s • Maintain PSD and Flocking Station ( Mud plant with centrifuge ) • Maintain Bentonite Station• Various excavators, mostly Hitachi and Komatsu of all different sizes, for sinking shafts, lay pipe etc.• Bobcats, Graders, Jaycon Shotcrete rig.
