As a high ROI Independent EOR Consultant / Senior Petroleum Engineer I have collaborated with thousands of mining and energy professionals during since 1997. I worked with Brian Bernal in his position as Geological Engineering Technician III at Kinder Morgan from 2007 to 2011 at the SACROC CO2 EOR / IOR Field located in the Horseshoe Atoll in West Texas. Brian was responsible for managing the Petra database, creating geologic cross sections, contour maps, activity maps, bubble maps, and entering electric log data. He worked extremely hard to ensure that all data was QA/QC in Petra, in fact he literally digitized and entered thousands if not tens of thousands of logs. Brian’s reliable and accurate work greatly enhanced the ability of all of the SACROC asset teams to identify then build capital project inventory that ultimately added $ Billions in additional NPV. He communicated clearly and professionally with all personnel whether it be in the Midland office, field operations, or service company vendors. Brian is punctual, reliable, communicates clearly, has deep integrity, completes tasks on time, comes prepared to meetings, empowers team members, and has excellent data management abilities. He protects the company balance sheet through operating cost containment, tracking and supporting a wide range of capital projects. His regular activity maps were critical for keeping engineers and senior management focused on tasks at hand and assisted operations and planning groups schedule rigs (over 40 units during peak periods) chemical treatments, pump changes, and conformance work. Brian trained and mentored personnel on Petra, Blueview, WFDE, Snagit, Autologs, MetaWin Viewer, NeuraView, and Work on Wells application software. I highly recommend hiring Brian Bernal as a Senior Geological Technician, Senior Reservoir Engineering Technician, Senior Operations Engineering Technician, Senior Petroleum Engineering Technician, Production Analyst, or Geological Analyst.
