I am a Partner with the AV Rated Firm of Bleakley, Bavol, Denman & Grace in Tampa, Florida. I focus on Employment and Labor Law, Civil and Business Litigation, Construction and Real Estate Litigation, Health Law and Zoning and Land Use matters. I am a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator and serve as an Arbitrator. I have litigated cases at every level of the Florida State Court system, including successfully arguing in the Florida Supreme Court. I have also litigated cases in the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida and in administrative proceedings and quasi-judicial forums. I prosecute and defend claims involving large and small corporations and individuals in civil disputes and also represent corporations, executives and individuals on a variety of employment and labor law matters, including non-compete agreements, severance packages, contracts, workplace compliance, training and litigation. I am a native Floridian and received my undergraduate degree from Florida State University and law degree from Drake University School of Law. In addition, I earned a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago. I have earned from my peers the highest Martindale-Hubbell rating of “AV Preeminent”. I am a member of the Florida Bar, and admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida and the Supreme Court of the United States. I have also been an active leader and board member for various public and private organizations in the Tampa Bay area, and currently serve as the Logistics Operations Officer for the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO), Suncoast Chapter. I have also previously served as a board member with Bay Area Legal Services, Inc. and UPARC/The Arc of Tampa Bay. I am a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator, Circuit Court.
