As a DevOps engineer, work with development teams from planning to release management to assure performant, scalable and reliable infrastructure and virtualization to production. Installation, configuration and administration of HP Blade Systems (including VirtualConnect) and storage. Strategy, design, implementation and administration of VMware. Installation, configuration and administration of SAN systems including HP 3Par and EVA arrays – SAS, FibreChannel and iSCSI. I was initially tasked with merging the datacenter equipment from Suncorp to Western Corporate and shut down the Utah operations of Suncorp Corporate Credit Union. Western Corporate continued their downsizing with shutting down operations of Boise, ID and Salt Lake City, UT and I was also tasked with moving all IT infrastructure and routing back to corporate headquarters.
