  As a communications Consultant on the Scope Project, I collaborate with the team to develop a communications strategy, matrix and messages aimed at ending sexual violence against children. My work contributed to two inter-related components: 1. Enhancing access to response and prevention services for survivors of sexual violence and those at risk. 2. Strengthening national and sub-national capacity for coordination and policy implementation. In summary, Scope was a World Bank funded project implemented by Uganda's Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development (MGLSD) in partnership with selected Civil Society Organizations (International Justice Mission (IJM), World Vision, Brac and Joy for children) The project was part of the broader efforts by the World Bank to prevent and mitigate against risk of sexual exploitation and abuse and other forms of gender-based violence in World investment projects. The project contributes to the Emergency Child Protection Response (ECPR) program which sought to respond to harm caused by the Bank’s funded Uganda Transport Sector Development Project (UTSDP).
