I am writing this recommendation because of my strong belief in Brett and his abilities. I have had the privilege to get to know Brett about a year ago and have been working with he and his team at e4b ever since. Being the Director of Design, Brett did not have a sales background, per se. That being said, Brett has taken the skillset and found many different areas to apply some of our training concepts to help establish better ground rules with the sales team and he is able to dig deeper with questions he is asking to ensure the client is getting the absolute best solution for them. Brett already possessed tremendous business acumen, professionalism, integrity and a warm, engaging personality. Watching him develop and leverage these skills in addition to the many he already possessed and was very successful with, has been fun to watch and has allowed him to put the e4b sales people in a better position to become the true

Facilities Project Specialist – Promoted to this position in April of 2012. I coordinate and schedule all contractors to complete remodel and optimization projects, review remodel take off plans, review ADA scope sheets and construction documents to bring stores to compliance, code research, and coordinate the install and refinish of open store floors; both VCT and polished concrete. I also complete punch walks of all sites completed to ensure accuracy of install and quality of work for both remodel projects and ADA remediation sites.

My responsibilities included but were not limited to completing space plans for projects at the home office, including new construction and relays of existing office space. I worked with contractors on open construction sites to ensure accuracy of install and tracked all projects financially to meet budget. Completed furniture and finish selections, and presentation items such as finish boards and full renderings. The position allowed me to complete a variety of projects, including those outside of my standard style of work, such as exterior courtyard renovations, and parking lot striping and paving.

Greeted customers with a warm and friendly greeting while building rapport to ensure I had a thorough understanding of their needs. I worked with each customer to ensure that all their needs were met and satisfied, while making sure to meet and exceed sales goals. Although I enjoyed my time at Sterling I left to pursue a professional design career closely related to my degree. Started as an intern in the interior design department and was promoted to a part time design position after graduation. During my time with Mulle + Associates, I completed space plans, 3-dimensional massing studies, full color renderings, client presentations, furniture and fixture selections, and complete construction documents. Unfortunately in May of 2010 Mulle + Associates closed the doors to the firm Started as an intern in the interior design department and was promoted to a part time design position after graduation.
