My experience working on a proposal management team with Brett was enlightening. We were able to share and cross train our combined decades of experience to develop a honed, bespoke process that allowed us to develop arresting and compelling work products. I’ve been in proposals a long time. There are only a handful of people like Brett who can do the job at his level. He is by far the best proposal manager I’ve ever worked with.

I’ve worked with Brett several times over the years. I have always been impressed by his ability to tackle complex endeavors with enthusiasm and confidence, born from his dedication to do whatever it takes to be successful. Recently, Brett mentored me as I settled into a new role. He quickly helped me to become an asset in a busy proposal development environment. Brett has always been smart and hardworking, but as he enters the second half of his career, his experience and knowledge begins to rival his work ethic and attitude.

I have worked with Brett since he joined the Braxton / Parsons team. I was impressed by him from the moment he was hired. He is very experienced in all types of proposals. He takes the lead and fully reads the solicitation to ensure the team meets the requirements of the proposal. He develops a proposal plan and works with the team to assign people to tasks. He is very dedicated and experienced in proposal writing and leading the proposal team. Brett was instrumental in Braxton being awarded the OASIS Pool 4 contract. Brett was a pleasure to work with and he really knows his stuff!

I was responsible for Facial Recognition (FR) and AFIS fingerprinting RFP responses as well as other biometric system proposals (iris scan, hand wave). I also provided sole source proposals for various entities, mostly county level law enforcement. My public security business unit was responsible for providing biometrics systems for State law enforcement agencies, the FBI, the State Department, airlines, cruise lines, theme parks, and private corporations. In addition to researching and responding to all RFPs, RFQs, and grant proposals, I worked with a second to none design team and a diverse, highly skilled squad of developers and solutions architects to craft literature and multimedia that conveyed the benefits of our mobile business intelligence and analytics suites. I started at DNS as a utility copywriter. After a year, I began contributing piecemeal work for solicitation responses. After eighteen months in, I was heading up RFP responses for major water districts, housing authorities, and city clerks' offices. I worked with DNS development to produce a state of the art electronic check processing software/hardware suite. Once I brought the product to market, I was in charge of developing all of the materials and strategy for selling the new product. Also notable, I developed a first-rate training course for the new product's resellers, creating a fully realized training manual and personally instructing a three-day course that graduated over one-hundred C-level professionals. As marketing manager, I was responsible for driving market awareness for a line of document imaging and processing software (Laserfiche). My responsibilities included creating and running an email marketing campaign, hosting and promoting regular webinars and workshops, direct sales, technical sales, and creating all brochures and other marketing collateral as well as a monthly newsletter and all other copywriting.
