  My sole responsibility at Penta was to modernize company practices in every single area of design and construction technology both in the office and the field as well as oversee the IT systems and hardware. In my 6 year employment many cutting edge technologies were tested and implemented within the organization. This includes a full shift from a 2D design environment into a modern 3D BIM/VDC workflow that includes the implementation of Revit for all building disciplines, Civil 3D, and Navisworks for the design and review teams. A complete overhaul of project data collection activities that include Terrestrial 3D Scanning, Photo Reality Capture, as well as a fleet of Drones collecting site data and construction activity for design and analysis on projects for all involved disciplines. Created new workflows for integrating BIM and Structural Analysis. Introduced new ways of rendering and animating projects for crucial Marketing efforts.Challenged the company to move in a new direction for the better. Upon my departure Penta had become a leader in the Cement and Lime Industry in regards to the technology being deployed on projects.

  As an Engineering Technician for the City of Wentzville I was tasked with many and varying responsibilities. My focus mostly involved 3 main functions which were infrastructure inspection, geospatial and surveying data collection and processing, as well as a big focus on modelling and design for city funded projects.A good portion of my time was spent on site with contractors during dedication inspections where we worked together to make sure all systems to be dedicated to the city were built to the specifications of the city.   As a GPS Data Collector my role was to use locate and collect GIS data for a major utility in the local area. Using Trimble mobile technology we collected many counties worth of utility data in both Illinois and Missouri.As a Pole Load Analysis Specialist my responsibilities were record and document the condition as well as the structural composure of utility poles in an effort to make sure these lines were stable for icy and windy conditions. We made recommendations for providing additional structural support and possibly removal and replacement of faulty or damaged utility pole and structures.
