As logistics manager, I am responsible for organizing and planning our deliveries to both farms and retail stores in Canada and the USA. This involves contact with freight companies, my dealer network, customers and my loading staff in order to provide economic freight solutions to deliver our products to their destinations in a timely manner. As an inside sales rep, I have gained experience in dealing with small retail settings as well as large distribution chains. I am also responsible for dealing with customer inquiries and concerns pertaining to our product, as well as shipping needs. My job involves attending trade shows to promote our brand, visiting farms to measure out and estimate projects, dealing with customers over the phone on a regular basis to answer questions and to troubleshoot problems. I am responsible for processing our monthly inventory and for making adjustments to inventory at month's end. I enter all of our daily production from our welding shop into our Sage accounting system every day. I am responsible for creating shipping documents for truck loads, as well as invoicing all of our sales out to dealers and customers using SAGE 100 ERP. I also use AutoCAD LT to design systems for handling cattle as well as horse stall systems for barns. Show less
