  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • OPERATIONS TECHNICAL: Maintain professional standards in events and productions. Ensure equipment is set up in time, tested and checked prior to arrival of guest/client. Mix/engineer the Sound & AV requirements as per client’s request. Communicate all necessary Sound & AV requirements with all relevant parties. • ADMINISTRATION: Compile and organize function sheets, ordering spares & sundries, stock takes and equipment identification. • COMMUNICATIONS & LIASONS: Attend pre con meeting and HOD meetings in absence of managers. Liaise with clients with regards to operational requirements. Liaise with own and other departments with regards to entertainment operations. • HEALTH & SAFETY: Implement health and safety regulations in work place. • OPERATIONAL PLANNING: Prepping and consolidating all equipment requests prior to setups and events. To assist FOH engineer with regular staff and training courses. • MAINTENANCE: Report broken/damaged items required for repair and maintenance. Complete maintenance checks for returned repaired equipment. Clean and pack away used equipment. • OPERATIONS COMMUNICATIONS: Communicate all necessary communications with relevant parties. Direct communications with clients and outside production houses. • PROCEDURES: Ensure that all procedures that relate to the department are kept in place. HIGHLIGHTS TO DATE • Being part of the sound and audio visual team on national and international shows, conferences and outdoor events e.g. South African Music Awards, Pink, Black Eyed Peas, Josh Groban, Cliff Richard & The Shadows, John Legend, Il Divo, Andre’ Rieu, Kelly Rowland, Kelly Clarkson, West Life, FIM Motocross, Miss South Africa and Nedbank Golf Challenge etc. Show less
