Julie Lam
Brett and I have been desk buddles since his first day at Children's Medical Research Institute. I have had the pleasure of working with Brett on a handful of community events. Brett has proven himself to be a true people person, helping to bring the fundraising team closer to the scientists at the Institute and really helping to engage them in fundraising activities. Brett is a true team player, always willing to help out, lend a hand and get the job done! All with a wonderful mixture of a positive, yet realistic attitude. On several occasions, I have turned to Brett for support on a project and he has always been able to deliver by using his unique ability to connect with just about anyone! Brett brings a unique view of the corporate sector, having spent most of his career there. He understands their values and how they align with the organisations' and he's able to bring these alignments to the surface to ensure we pursue mutually beneficial partnerships. I have truly appreciated working alongside someone so dedicated to his craft and look forward to seeing him thrive in any organisation he chooses to work for. Brett would be an asset to any organisation looking for a truly down to Earth, good hearted person who works hard for his team.

Brett is a highly engaging relationship manager, evidenced during his time at CMRI. As a long-term partner of the Institute, Brett came to us with some really excellent, fresh and well-researched activation ideas to leverage our market positioning and drive customer engagement, with great outcomes for both CMRI and our business. Brett's approach both enhanced and secured the partnership during a critical time, considering the challenges faced by every organisation during the Covid-19 pandemic. I'd highly recommend Brett in any relationship manager role, particularly where the focus is on the corporate sector.
