A global company with circa 32,000 employees focusing on building and operating telecommunications networks.I worked for Telstra for more than 12 years. During that time I had roles in various teams and worked with stakeholders giving me a perspective of the sales, order, delivery, billing and terminations processes end to end.The main focus of my role was to ensure that orders received into the billing team were accurate, ensuring that data flowed successfully into the invoicing system and appeared correctly on thecustomer’s bills. I managed customer queries that resulted in the formation of close business relationships. Amongst other duties, I carried out data analysis to advise senior management of sales trends and presented billing reports for broadcasting to the wider company audience.Creating and writing reports using Microsoft SQL server to provide customers with full invoice back up detail.Analysing billing data with Microsoft Excel using formulas, pivot tables and Vlookups to identify trends and disparities.Reviewing and scrutinising order details to ensure accurate customer invoicing.Lead EMEA billing contact due to experience using CRMs and billing / finance systems (ROCps, Oracle Financials).Communicating with other teams including service delivery, order desk, sales, products, etc to give the best customer experience possible.
