STILL LIFE IS THE LIFE is the commercial photography work of artist Brett Cody Rogers. Rogers' approach to still life fashion photography draws parallels between fashion and art, photography and painting. Drawing inspiration from art historical references evoked by the design of the products themselves, his interest in still life product photography stems directly from an interest in working one-on-one with materials -- manipulating design objects and light to construct compositions with strong graphic components and painterly elements.
