As the Assistant Principal for the Class of 2021 at Nathaniel Hawthorne Middle School 74 in Bayside, Queens, I supported our 1100+ students in grades 6-8 and supervised 20+ teachers in the science and social studies departments across in-person, fully remote, and blended learning environments. Thanks to our collaborative approach, strong academics, and commitment to going beyond, TEAM 74 was consistently ranked one of the highest-performing public middle schools in all of NYC.

Co-Director, Learning Partners-Urban Teacher Residency

As co-director of the Learning Partners-Urban Teacher Residency, I worked with 18 schools to share and strengthen their practices around new teacher induction and mentoring. In addition, I led a team of five Learning Partners Program facilitators who supported collaboration among groups of NYC public schools working to address shared problems of practice.
