- Figured out monthly usage of different tools in the shop and organized them into a 9-cabinet drawer for the shop to use. - Preformed a 5S project on two different work cells in the shop. - Gathered a list of the various parts made in the shop and organized them by their part number so the wash and pack employees know how each part gets packed. - Changed the layout of one of the cells in the shop by creating a small shadow board for the various gauges. - Had to find a cheaper alternative to the most expensive tool used in the shop by preforming different tests with the tool. - Had to find and time study the “bottleneck” operation for the top 40 parts by gross margin in the shop.
