  I began my offshore career as a trainee working towards a NVQ with Acergy. This involved working on a number of vessels in various locations. I worked on jobs including dive support, construction, rigid and flexi pipe lay, survey and ROV in locations such as the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. During my 2 years working as a trainee I experienced a lot of what the oil and gas sector has to offer and was able to gather all the skills involved to be able to work in the industry. I also partook in training away from the worksite to gain a higher understanding of the job requirements. Show less
