Also initiated the creation of a liaison service, oversaw several facility and technology upgrades, started student outreach programming, expanded new student and faculty orientations, hired four new staff, developed new training for student workers, and launched partnerships with a variety of campus offices. Other initiatives included transitions to WorldCat Discovery and the Koha ILS, full implementation of ILLiad, a website redesign based on user input, elimination of student overdue fines, team-based design of a “Z” freshman orientation course, and creation of a faculty grant program to promote the classroom use of OER and library materials.
