At the 25th anniversary of a rewarding career, took a planned two-year professional sabbatical to focus on and expand personal fitness routine and goals. Became a Certified CrossFit Coach, and completed several races including two half-marathons. Recently finished the Carlsbad Half Marathon averaging just over ten minutes per mile over the 13.1 mile run.
