I have had the pleasure of having Brent on my team for a year and a half now and consider his addition to the team an incredible win. He is one of the hardest working people I know and exemplifies every characteristic you would want in an employee (and friend). He embodies an inner drive to succeed that is hard to come by and cares deeply for every person he interacts with. One of the characteristics that I most appreciate about him, however, is his commitment to 'team'. It's easy to say someone is a 'team player', but Brent goes beyond this and really makes an effort to ensure each person on the team is successful. He is an invaluable member of this team and even as his boss, I look up to him in many regards.

Brent’s ability to cast vision is unlike anything I have seen before. His caring personality draws you in to make you listen to what he has to say. Whether it is a topic of selling tires or spending a summer overseas, he has the unique ability to not only see potential in others but call them into action. He is extremely passionate and motivates those around him to continue to be a part of something bigger than themselves. It has been and will continue to be a privilege to be working alongside Brent here at ELIC. Not only is he a team player, but also a leader. Brent is someone who makes an impact with anyone he comes into contact with and I’m excited for all of those people who have yet to meet him.

Since 1981 we have been placing passionately committed people in teaching roles across Asia, who primarily serve through the medium of English instruction. We accomplish this through recruiting, training and sending men and women from the USA, Canada, and other countries, to meet the ever-growing demand for quality English education in Asia. The comprehensive graduate-level training provided to our new teachers has raised the bar significantly in the countries where we serve. Ongoing professional development opportunities for our teachers include earning Master’s Degrees, graduate certificate programs, and two Ph.D. options. We have vibrant programs for college students, graduates, singles, couples, families and second-career adults. Our present countries of service include China, Mongolia, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar. In addition, we are also in the Middle East and N. Africa. In most cases, we maintain both year-long and summer programs.
