I currently serve as a team member of the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) Planning Team. As a management analysis for Deputy Assistant Secretary -Management, I monitored and analyzed several major business functions to ensure achievement of key milestones and adherence to budgets. Assisted Senior and mid-level managers develop performance measures that are aligned to the Agency's strategic objectives. I developed and presented Congressional Budget Exhibits for a $2B budget. Completed the initial fielding phase of a nationwide performance data collection system; that will accurately and reliably collect performance data for Strategic, Operational and Program Assessment and Rating Tool (PART) performance measures within Indian Affairs. Maintenance Test Pilot/Instructor Pilot

Advised the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on matters related to the management of the annual maintenance contract for the Army Aviation Training Center, Ft. Rucker, AL. Supervised a staff of five highly technical and professional GS-12’s. Monitored the prime contractor for an annual maintenance service contract ($85M) ensuring services in support of a 240,000 annual flying hour program. Managed a team that developed a computerized format, data collection process, and milestones for a Component Repair Assessment Program; thereby saving Ft. Rucker approximately $4M between 1996 and 1997. I successfully negotiated, with the civilian contractor, turn in schedules and budget costs to effectively accomplish a 100% turn-in of assigned AH-64 Apache helicopters for retrofit to the Apache Longbow. Served as an instructor pilot for the Army's UH-60 maintenance test pilot program. Assignments as Instructor Pilot, standardization officer, maintenance test pilot and maintenance officer. Show less
