Review and submit documents to the General Contractor and ensure sub-trades have the necessary information; maintain communication with general contractor, sub-trades and suppliers. Review shop-drawing submissions from suppliers and sub-trades, confirm requirements for equipment, and submit to General Contractor. Stay current on all projects by reviewing site instructions from General Contractor and identify relevant implications for sub-trades and communicate the information required; have sub-trades submit quote and forward to project manager. Assist HVAC Services and Project Managers with scheduling start-up and training, maintaining job costing, and administration and filing of documents. Deal with any unforeseen tasks that Project Managers delegate, such as change orders, following up with suppliers for pricing, obtain submittals from sub-trades. Identify problems and work with the sub-trades and/or suppliers to resolve them promptly and cost effectively. Maintain project files (physical and electronic), including shop drawings submittals, RFI’s, site instructions and associated schedule logs. Prepare close out documentation, including operating and maintenance manuals, asbuilts, test reports and commissioning documents. Show less

• Parts Finding Program – Created an Excel VBA program to aid Canada Post mechanics and technicians to find parts compatible with specific vehicles using various search parameters • Determined when MMHE (Motorized Mail Handling Equipment) needed to be replaced, maintaining Canada Post’s ability to move mail effectively and reliably • Investigated and presented the possibility of Canada Post’s use of passive RFID to track parcels, increasing visibility of mail and optimizing future mail processing and tracking.
