Alan Wegener
Brendan was one of the best Solar Designers I have ever worked with. His attention to detail, design, and customer concerns was impeccable. He knows his product well, and is quick to respond to questions and to provide additional detail when needed. He is very thorough in his work, and handles the 'what if' scenario's that ultimately arise. Brendan is the gold standard that I would use to have others reach toward.

Assistant Supervisor
-
Mar 2004 - Sep 2005
As Assistant Supervisor and subsequently Interim Supervisor, managing a crew of six people, I gained many skills. This AmeriCorps crew is contracted by King County with a focus on salmon habitat restoration and riparian restoration. This work was primarily in riparian streamside areas impacted by development or in development mitigation sites. My personal roll was to coordinate the crew with King County Project Managers and Landscape Architects to control salmon bearing stream erosion, replant streamside buffers with native plants, locate and control invasive plants, and maintain and irrigate these sites. In addition to these duties, as the Supervisor, I was responsible for the organization, safety, and development of 6 Corps members as well as training my successor.
