  As co-founder and PR director for Asante the Kenyan Eye Care project it was my responsibility to oversee the promotion of our charity which brings volunteer opticians to the Kenyan bush and conduct yearly eye-clinics.To date Asante have treated over 3,000 people and of these some 1,000 have had their eyesight restored.All of our monies are raised through gracious donations from family, friends, strangers and the corporate world and the assistance of Fight For Sight.It had been my duty and pleasure to travel with the opticians each year since 2007, organising the logistics, deliviries, communications, accommodation and all subsequent PR and Marketing releases.
