    • File Technician
      • Oct 2010 - Oct 2015

My main task is to file new medical information into the patient charts, making copies of paper work for incoming patients, and creating charts for the new patients. I have to time manage my days deciding how much time must be spent on retrieving files, filing charts, and making the copies as each can take long depending on how many patients have been seen that week. With the success I have had at Buffalo General I have also been asked to work a few days a week at UB Orthopedics doing electronic filing and scanning. Show less

I helped create the monthly email newsletter to our subscribers including choosing the giveaway and the appropriate events happening at Catholic Health and the community. I was responsible for managing the Social Media by finding out who was talking about Catholic Health and responding as the Catholic Health account to help assistant them further. Show less

    • Collections
      • May 2013 - Aug 2013

During the summer of 2013 I was able to work in collections for Caine and Weiner which acts as a "middle man" for companies like CT Corp or Mountain Springs Water Company who are not receiving their payments from their clients on time. I worked over the phone talking to clients and took payments for overdue charges. I had to meet a monthly goal as a debt collector, but also had to help make sure my team met its overall monthly goal.
