Worked under Dr Lorna Ayton in the Waves Group of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) to study the properties of acoustic waves interacting with rigid metal gratings. Extended upon a separate model previously proposed in another research paper, using their idea as a basis for building the model in our system of interest. Used MATLAB to predict and analyse results of model.
