Brenda has been helping our squad developing and testing great digital solutions for our Large Business customers for the past year and a half as an Automation Test Engineer. Her main contribution was the development and maintenance of our automation test suite in our CICD pipelines but she also took care of a large range of testing activities, including manual functional testing, stress and performance testing, smoke and regression testing and go to production verification activities. Brenda has an incredible desire to fully understand complex systems and models so she can thoroughly test our platform/services and deliver a robust product to our end users and customers. She is courageous and does not hesitate to challenge the product decisions and bring her perspective to the team. Despite her focus on automation testing Brenda went beyond expectations and helped the team in the Business Analysis space at the early stages of our development cycle and always approach problems with a can do attitude. She is an autonomous tester who does not hesitate to quickly engage with the designers, developers and business analysts, or other parts of the organization to deliver quality on time. Brenda balances her professionalism and tester seriousness with a great sense of humor :-)

When I look back on my career and think about the better testers I have crossed paths with, there are very few that come to mind. Brenda is a tester that is within that handful of people. Brenda is a tester that goes above and beyond to make sure software of the highest standard is delivered, she is extremely thorough in the requirements she gathers and tests applications with very close attention to detail. Brenda is also able to debug issues at an entry level in order to make developers lives much easier (this is an unspoken skill that I always appreciates amongst testers). Aside from her testing, she contributes a lot to our day to day discussions on how to make things better and gives suggestions on how we can improve user experience.
