It was my pleasure to have worked with Brenda while she was an Executive Director at Sunrise Senior Living, Inc. She was a tremendous asset to me and a great resource. With her help we were able keep bad debt down and increase revenue for Sunrise. She was always proactive in her approach and diligent. She would be an asset to any organization.

Details of the Recommendation: ""Brenda Mast is an outstanding Naval Sailor in all respects. She was one of my most seasoned and mature enlisted personnel that I supervised as CO of Fleet Logisitics Support Squadron 52. She worked and was respected like a seasoned Chief Petty Officer (equivalent to middle to upper management). She was consistently sought out by name for her knowledge, expertise, meticulous attention-to-detail, her committment and dedication. Our unit provided world-wide fleet logistics support to the Navy, all military personnel, cargo and congressionals around the world and around the clock, 365 days a year including 3 permanent det sites in Japan, Italy and Bahrain. As one of supervisors, she was directly responsible for the maintenance and operations of up to 5, C-9 aircraft, and 120 aircrew for daily Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, support for the Earthquake in Pakistan, Tsunami in Indonesia, and Hurricane Katrina while she also ensured around-the-clock maintenance was conducted with 150 maintainers to keep the aircraft up and flying. She was our "go to" Sailor in the squadron maintaining a highly professional and up-beat attitude and consistently creating a positive and top-notch work environment and ethics. She is an exceptional leader and manager, and an example to all. I have seen Brenda work through some extremely high ops tempo situations and maintained a calm, decisive, assertive demeanor while leading and responding to real world and major Navy events especially running the "Maintenance Control Desk" a highly sought after job but critically important to ensure "Safe for Flight". She also spent a lot of her off duty time singing the National Anthem at various on-base and off-base events as the Navy and military representative for NAS JRB Willow Grove. She has an amazing voice and I selected her to sing at my Change of Command Ceremonies. She is a true professional and gifted leader possessing all the attributes of a top performer! I strongly recommend Brenda Mast for any job or position.""
