  People 1st is a training organisation which facilitates a range of Government programmes, including ApprenticeshipNI, Training for Success and Steps to Work, parallel to customised corporate training specific to the needs of organisations both in the public, private and voluntary sectors. My role as Director involves contributing to the the formulation and review of the strategic planning, operational management of programmes, management of staff, resources and finance. I co-ordinate business development for the organisation and I am responsible for the organisation of key accounts. I am also involved in tender submission, project management and marketing of the various training initiatives offered.Most recently, I was involved in the recognition of our organisation as a Deloitte Best Managed Company award and IiP Gold Status recognition.
