I promote and draw attention to Animals Fiji’s welfare work within the local community and nation-wide and represent Animals Fiji in negotiations on the organization's duties & responsibilities within each location and as a whole. I effectively, on an ongoing basis evaluate the sustainability of clinics in Labasa & Savusavu and oversee basic animal care information to customers, government agencies/departments, media, and other local counterparts. Finally, I create, grow, and maintain Animals Fiji’s supporters, clientele and donors in the region through public speaking, social media management and animal welfare education programmes in villages and settlements.   McDonald's first opened in Fiji on the 1st of May 1996 in Nadi. The second restaurant opened in Suva in May 1997, the third opened in Laucala Bay in July 2002 and the fourth restaurant opened in Lautoka in December 2015. These 4 restaurants are serviced by a Distribution Centre that imports food and paper products into Fiji mainly from its global McDonald's supplier in New Zealand. McDonald's Fiji is owned and operated by Marc McElrath and currently employs more than 300 staff. My roles at McDonald's included production caller, buns/grill/dressing, deep frying, hot and spicy, drive- thru and front counter sales, lobby/restrooms cleaning, delivery receiver. After mastering each aspect of the restaurant, I was promoted to Crew Trainer whose prime roles are to ensure that policies and procedures are followed without fail, training new staff/follow up refresher courses for existing staff, assisting the shift managers and Restaurant manager with various tasks, problem solving and handling customer grievances.
