During my time at Oaks Hotels & Resorts, my main focus was in designing and delivering key organisational development programs that met the business needs. These programs aligned to business strategies and improved the overall performance of targeted groups within the organisation. This led to a key focus of organisational development and change projects. I was appointed as the lead consultant in the organisational structure of the revenue centre for a parent hotel company (Minor International) and sent on assignment to Bangkok, Thailand for this project. Stemming from this I played a pivotal role in the amalgamation of two national revenue centres in Australia. Additionaly, I designed, implemented and facilitated key programs: - Leadership Development Program – targeting middle management to provide key leadership capabilities and skills - Fast Track Hotel Manager Program – an 8 week intensive course that included one-on-one coaching and mentoring - Customer Service & Induction Program – designed to educate and induct and new employees to the business and ensure customer excellence - Central Revenue Induction Program – induct and educate new employees in the sales strategies and techniques to promote customer service and improve overall revenue
