The job was for a temporary basis but after that I was kept on full time and stayed at this store until I left to be married in 1980 and then moved with my husband who was in the Air Force. Whilst I was here I worked on numerous departments such as Haberdashery, Jewellery, Stationary, Ladies Wear, Hardware & Gardening and I loved the experience of working on all departments and serving the public helped my confidence
