International Justice Mission is the world's largest anti-slavery organization aimed to rescue thousands, protect millions, and prove that justice for the poor is possible. Serving as the aftercare intern, I worked on researching different standards and best practices in which the public justice systems serve clients internationally. This research provided my team with the knowledge to collaborate with other teams within the organization to promote better practices for client care in rehabilitation. I have learned and participated in professional and Christian values and ethics while working at International Justice Mission. More tasks included updating the aftercare's team calendar, organizing stakeholder's information, assisting in organizing field feedback, and updating the aftercare mission to better support IJM's mission.

End Slavery Tennessee's mission is to create a slave-free Tennessee by promoting healing of human trafficking survivors and strategically confront slavery in the state. As a social work intern, I was tasked with working alongside the survivor-care coordinators in assisting in the needs of the survivors in our care. I developed many relationships with the survivors; gained trust and security while taking clients to appointments and advocated and empowered survivors to promote healing and recovery.
