Essential Job Functions: • Obtains vital signs (respirations, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature), pulse oximetry, height, and weight on all patients at every visit. • Draws blood and obtains laboratory samples • Administers medication (IM, Subcutaneous, intradermal, po) per medication administration policy. • Performs point of care testing according to manufacturer and CLIA regulations. • Performs rooming procedures according to policy. • Prepares and maintains cleanliness of exam rooms. • Maintains professional behavior when dealing with colleagues, patients, visitors, G.physicians and supervisors. • Schedules appointments in Athena • Documents in EMR accurately and appropriately. • Manages my chart request and incoming patient calls. • Manages in-basket messages, results and patient communication under the Providers verbatim instructions. • Conducts quality assurance and proficiency testing according to guidelines set forth in the CLIA program (ie.
