Develop, coordinate and implement a sales plan for the assigned territory. Achieve specific performance goals regarding sales calls, sales forecast and territory growth. Educate and perform product demonstrations to medical staff (small and large groups). Plan, coordinate and participate in local and regional meetings and trade shows. Identify areas of strengths and weaknesses in the company’s product line and provide input to appropriate internal departments to take advantage of available opportunities. This is intended to assist product design and development. Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from medical magazines, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources. Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts. Work with Inside Sales Support team to keep account activities up to date. Investigate and resolve customer inquiries.
