  VSS, formerly known as Vision Security Software, sells purpose-built appliances for IP Video Surveillance applications.As a software developer I'm in charge of: • Debugging and adding new features to VSS applications (C#/.NET web application with a Powershell-based installer), maintenance of the SVN repository, writing Python applications, and batch and Powershell scripts to automate testing. • Wrote a Python-based application that records RTSP streams from networked cameras using FFmpeg and can be installed as a Windows service. Created a camera configuration application that allows for the configuration of cameras remotely, in batches, through API calls using Node.js and Electron for the interface. • Offering technical insight to the rest of the team, the creation of testing tools, and maintaining installers and deployment tools.
