• Overseeing and managing construction of various activates, was responsible for leading 3 different construction crews with approximately 5-8 people per crew • Preparing and providing timely responses to construction contractor technical and administrative inquiries • Documenting construction activities via written reports and photographs • Monitoring all construction activity while on site including safety provisions, material testing, and quantities, and taking immediate action to mitigate delays, disruptions and other problems • Identifying and preparing modification items in Requests for Price Proposals for COR and CO issuance, developing supporting documents, preparing government estimate if required, reviewing contractor proposals and drafting modifications • Performing daily inspections wile on site and reviewing contractor’s activities • Identifying unacceptable work and drafting rejection letters • Coordinating preliminary inspections and drafting inspection deficiency list for issuance to contractor by the COR • Conducting inspections (i.e. Beneficial Occupancy and Final Inspections) and drafting related deficiency letters for the Contracting Officer Representative review and subsequent approval and signature by the Contracting Officer • Preparing price for each punch item on the deficiency list • Ensuring spare parts, tools, replacement materials, operational training, O+M manuals, warrantees and guarantees are received at project closeout (on or before date of contractors request for substantial completion) • Performing time-impact analysis when requested • Reviewing project schedules • Coordinating construction contractor security briefing with the Facility Owner Point of Contact and ensuring that the Facility Owner is notified of all changes to the work as previously scheduled by the construction contractor Show less
